Goal
To coordinate the work of various early childhood Technical Assistance (TA) efforts working with states to avoid duplication, share knowledge and improve delivery and impact of TA. To further strengthen the collaborative possibilities and to take advantage of new technologies for doing so, this web site was created. It is intended to be a hub of resources for and communication among Consortium participants and other early childhood TA partners.

Early Childhood Systems Federal Partners Workgroup TA Coordination Subcommittee
The EC Systems Federal Partners Workgroup was first set up with ECCS grantees. When the federal partners decided to promote more TA coordination, a TA coordination subcommittee was established. The subcommittee has developed the following documents to facilitate collaborative TA efforts to support states in building comprehensive EC systems across the full range of early childhood sectors that impact the lives of children and families.
- Guiding Principles for TA Collaboration - describes the key elements that need to be addressed in comprehensive system building, and the principles of practice that govern collaborative TA efforts.
- Early Childhood TA Coordination Logic Model - delineates activities related to planning, providing and documenting collaborative TA designed to build state capacity to develop coordinated EC systems.
- Federal EC Workgroups and EC TA Projects - depicts the organizational structure of Federal agencies and selected TA agencies they fund, and indicates agency representation on various Federal early childhood workgroups.
- TA Connections: Federal, State and Community - shows connections between national TA agencies that support comprehensive EC systems and their primary state/community TA clients across federal funding streams.
- Acronym List for Federal EC Programs - lists acronyms and full names of the organizations/agencies referenced in the preceding documents along with the funder's logo.
